What is Company Program?
Company Program is a free after-school program that provides high school students with entrepreneurial and career-building skills that give them a competitive edge throughout their life.
The group of 15-30 students, under the guidance of their Advisors, create, manage, and liquidate a business in 18 weeks. They use real money, create real products, and have real customers. The experience is capped off with VentureOn celebration our Company Program awards ceremony, which takes place in May.
JA Company Program gives student participants important “real world” experience; helping to build their confidence and pushing them to go beyond what they think is possible. The program helps students build transferable skills, such as leadership, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills that are essential in future careers and education.
